Gambling help & responsible use

Your well-being comes first.

If gambling is causing worry for you or someone you care about, help is available. You do not need a SLATALYST account to use these resources.

Confidential help in the United States

The National Council on Problem Gambling's helpline connects people with support and local resources, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

1-800-MY-RESET1-800-697-3738 · call or text

These links connect you to an independent support service. SLATALYST does not operate the helpline.

Take a break and set boundaries

  • Set time and spending limits before making decisions. A losing streak is a reason to pause, not to increase a budget.
  • Keep money needed for housing, food, bills, savings and debt payments separate from gambling.
  • Use an operator's deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion options. A time-out or self-exclusion may need to be set separately with each operator or jurisdiction.
  • If gambling creates stress, secrecy, conflict or a sense of lost control, reach out to the helpline or someone you trust.

Find self-exclusion and local resources

Use NCPG's state-by-state directory to find local resources. Ask the helpline about support and self-exclusion programs in your state, or check your state gambling regulator's official website. Outside the United States, use an official local health or gambling-support service.

Understand the role of SLATALYST

SLATALYST is an informational research, comparison and tracking product. It does not accept wagers or gambling deposits. An odds comparison, projection, model estimate or past result cannot guarantee a win or make gambling risk-free.

Only use operators and products that are lawful where you are and for which you meet the minimum age and eligibility rules. SLATALYST does not replace those checks.
